• Tel Aviv One Bedroom Seafront Balcony On 45 Hayarkon st Tel-Aviv

Although not located in Tel Aviv, the Safari Park is located close enough to Tel Aviv to be considered one of the city's attractions. The park can be found in Ramat Gan, in close proximity to Tel Aviv, and easily accessible by car as well as bus. The safari was opened in 1974 as the Zoological Center. Several years later, in 1981, a zoo comprised of animals from the recently closed Tel Aviv Zoo opened. Collectively, the Zoological Center and zoo became the Safari Park.

The Safari Park is an excellent day-long activity that children as well as adults can enjoy. In addition to the giraffes, gazelles, ostriches, storks, impalas, monkeys, and zebras found in the park, the safari is also famous for breeding African and Asian elephants, hippos, gorillas, lions, and orangutans. The main goal of the Safari Park is to promote the conservation of nature. They are very meticulous in their care of the animals. Most of the animals wander around freely on the safari grounds, and there is a hospital for ill or wounded animals.

In order to travel through the safari, you will need a car. If you do not have a car, you can either rent a car from the park for an additional 7 NIS per person, or join one of several buses a day that run through the safari.
